A complete strip-out and redesign of the family bathroom, transforming a tired, outdated room into a contemporary sanctuary. We began by carefully removing all existing fixtures, tiles, and fittings before assessing the subfloor and wall condition. The plumbing was fully renewed with new copper pipework and isolation valves for each fitting, future-proofing the installation. We then waterproofed the shower area using a tanking membrane before laying large-format porcelain marble-effect tiles across the walls and floor, with minimal grout lines for a sleek, easy-to-clean finish. The frameless walk-in shower features a low-profile tray, a thermostatic mixer valve, and an oversized rainfall shower head. A wall-hung vanity unit with soft-close drawers provides ample storage without taking up floor space, while the new close-coupled WC has a dual-flush cistern for water efficiency. Underfloor heating was installed beneath the tiles for year-round comfort, and recessed LED lighting behind the mirror creates a warm, relaxing ambience. A chrome heated towel rail keeps towels warm and dry. The result is a luxurious bathroom that feels spacious, modern, and built to last.
